In 2016, FunWOW was thrilled to be one of 40 artists chosen by the environmental activist organization Global Inheritance to redesign a 65-gallon recycling bin into a work of art to be part of their TRASHed x Coachella Art of Recycling Exhibit at the 2016 Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA as well as the TRASHed :: Art of Recycling Exhibit at Angel City Brewery in downtown LA’s art district. Since then, FunWOW’s PulpTRASH bin has been exhibited as part of Global Inheritance’s collection at FYF Festival, Shaun White’s Air & Style LA, and at Desert Daze in Joshua Tree, California.
In 2017, FunWOW was invited back by Global Inheritance to design a new Side Eye bin for the 2017 Coachella Music and Arts Festival. FunWOW’s Side Eye Bin has already been featured at the 2017 TRASHed Art of Recycling Exhibit in downtown Los Angeles and at HBO x TRASHed.
2020 marks our fifth year of collaboration with Global Inheritance and the Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
